Strategy for HIM run

Hi all, I’m fairly new to 1/2 IM distance (2 under my belt). My previous run PR for a pretty flat course is 1:45. This year I feel faster and more fit, but I’m still unsure how to best pace myself for the run? Any tips are welcome.

Don’t run it like it’s a 10k. go out at a pace you can maintain for 13.1 miles. To be safe back off that a bit in the first 25% of the run. Slowly pick it up over the next 50% then in the last 2 miles run even faster.

Manage your calories and fluid as well during the bike and early in the run.
