I am supposed to race Memphis in May this weekend. I am travelling from New York. My friend who was supposed to come with me had a family emergency and is not able to make it. Problem is - My license is expired and so I can’t drive. I do realize this is idiotic, but I was wondering if anyone will be travelling from downtown memphis on race morning and can give me a ride or is willing to host another person in their hotel room closer to the race site? Help! I will be happy to help pay for car/ hotel/ gas, etc
In all seriousness, see what you can find out about Team in Training at this race. They usually have a huge presence down there. One of my friends has coached a group in it in the past, and I know they put them all up at a downtown hotel, so maybe you can get a ride on their bus.
