Just an fyi for folks who bought the stock 7.0 speed concept and plan on creating an aero monster. The front brake that comes with the bike is a nobrand that does not fit very well with the 808 firecrest or hed stinger 9. It also doesn’t care for the zipp cork brake pads.
Luckily I had a set of sram apex brakes sitting around the house. These brakes fit the wide wheels with plenty of room to spare. They also take aftermarket pads better than the stock brake. If you have this bike and are looking to pull the trigger on some stingers or firecrests I highly recommend chasing down at least an apex front brake.
As an aside. The zipp is simply amazing. My stinger is from 2009 (not the 2011 sct or superwide model) so it is not the current improved wheel. That said the firecrest is just better all around imo. It offers a far stiffer, quieter and smoother ride. Very happy with it.
