A new project landed on my desk this morning, resulting in a trip to Jacksonville, FL next week.

We’re an hour up the road in Jekyll Island, GA. Why don’t you shoot up here? We could go to Cap’n Stans for a fish sandwich and then over to the Jekyll Island Sea Turtle Center. Big Fun!

Man, that would have been great. Unfortunately due to a flight SNAFU, I won’t be making the trip. Chances are I’ll be headed down that way sometime in the near future however, so hopefully we can hook up then.
Jekyll Island is a very cool place. Loved my visit there. Do you have a residence on the island?
Go to Buckets down on the beach. Totally great little bar with about a thousand flavors of wings. Cool.

Traveling as much as I do (or at least used to) is hell on a training schedule, and can be pretty rough on the body as well. One of the perks of the job however, is that it occasionally gives me the opportunity to meet up with ST’ers all over the place.
I’ve never yet met an ST’er that I didn’t like.
As to why they might want to meet me? Probably just morbid curiosity…
