In the past few weeks when out training on my road bike I have been getting pins and needles and numbness in my left hand after about an hour of ridinng. I don’t get it on my tt bike and have never had it in previous years of riding. ANY IDEAS?
Maybe try the following:

Also I see that Cervolguy is always mentioning Gel bar tape so maybe try that as well and hopefully the presumably harsh vibration that is causing the pins and needles will stop.
Do you wear a watch on your left hand? If so take it off to see if it makes a difference. It does for me. Would explain why you don’t have that problem in your aerobar position since there is less pressure on your wrists. Also why only your left hand is effected. Not sure why it is just recent though. New watch?

That could be it I suppose, recently I have been wearing a heavy divers type wristwatch as I broke my polar.
Never thought of that, I’ll try without- THANKS
Same problem and the reason I started riding with aerobars 15 years ago. Somethings don’t get better with age.
