New Jersey STers Christopher Martin and Doug Clark took 4th and 17th overall, respectively. It looks like Chris had the 2nd fastest bike split of the day: damn! Congratulations to both of them, especially to Doug “sort of new father” Clark, who modestly didn’t expect to do much.
How the splits can get so screwed up at a National-level championship is beyond me. I don’t think I’ve done a race over the past 20 years in which I didn’t fail to get my complete and accurate splits.
