I was doing some loops on the Manayunk Wall - very narrow with cars - and on the way down I was thinking that moving from an aerobar with upturned ends to a flat base bar would be a mistake… There were a few times I had to slam on the brakes and made good use of those upturned ends…
Does anyone have thoughts on this? Is there a difference in the “crap, I’m going to kill myself” factor when flying down steep descents with a flat base bar (as opposed to those that are slightly upturned?)
