Looking forward to Steelhead on Saturday, but was a bit suprised when I picked-up my morning Detroit Free Press and saw a story on Benton Harbor on the front page. It talked about a golf development that would utilize a good portion of Jean Klock Park (tri venue). What does this mean for the future of Steelhead Tri? It’s such a great venue. No worries on this new development. We have meet with them and seen the new plans. The new parking lot would be a great transition and the new roads around the park will work out great for the race. We just hope they will be done by next year’s Steelhead! Z

That’s good news. You have to figure that Benton Harbor/St. Joe’s has to love the extra tourism dollars it will reap this weekend. Good luck with all the prep work and we’ll see you soon.
