We’re one week out, who’s racing?
The MSU Tri Team will be out in force and chomping at the bit for the club champs banner! Look for a blind guy, italian, honduran, latvian, and plenty of Michiganders plus Cheeseheads and you’ve found us.

Wouldn’t miss it… high caliber half in my own back yard.
Go State.
I’ll be there passing everyone on the bike. If you see me go by on a white Ridley say hey!
Actually, as a 37 y.o. women, I’ll be nowhere near you young studs!
Jeff- Let us know what the weather is going to be on race week! I hear the lake temp is around 72 degrees - hope we have a nice day for the race next Saturday. Z
I’ll be there. Training hasn’t gone as planned this year, so this is more like a long workout for me, but I am looking forward to it!
A ton of Trikats are headed over from all around West Michigan.
Wendy “Wingnut” Ingrahm is on the way for the race too. She will be doing a group swim, training clinic with us next Thursday.
I’m there. Go Green.
I’ll be there with my ST shirt on!!! My first 1/2 IM and i’m really looking forward to the experience!!
Z, the forecast looks great. The water has been in the mid 70s all through July. We had a turnover a couple of days ago, but it is already back in the mid 60s and climbing.
Here’s a infrared satellite image link that works well when there are no clouds:

I’m too chicken to throw my prediction out there just yet… maybe after the weekend.
Jeff
I’m so there too.
Go BLUE!!!
Wendy went to Michigan State, so I’m sure she will be supporting the State Team at the race! She is doing the event as a training day for Kona this year! Z
what a great thing for Wendy to be back around home and to do that race Tom.
TYR is lucky beyond measure to have someone of her caliber on board. i’ve had a couple occasions to have contact with her, including sharing my tire pump with her at Shu’s a few years back, and she did a couple on-air visits with me on multisport stuff back in the media days.
she came to Gazelle Sports in Kalamazoo to talk to the Trikats last year, and her swim clinic with us next week promises to be an adventure.
she is a class act…even though she still has not (to my knowledge) let loose with the meaning behind “Wingnut”.
I’m in. First half IM. First race in a wetsuit. First race in a Great Lake.
Go Blue! The very first word my three year old can read is “Michigan”, and the other night he asked me to sing The Victors to him before he went to sleep.
SPARTY!!! Go Aaron and friends.
I’m in. One of the handful of trikats at the race.
I did the race the first year, in Sept. in the rain. Loved it!
I’m hoping it wont be to hot this year.
Cheryl and I are in. Looking forward to a great race.
I’ll be there - QR Santo and Chicago Tri Club Jersey - tryin to keep up with raccoon
.
