I’m registered but won’t be able to race. Is it possible to have a friend pick up my race packet without the chip so I can at least get a shirt out of the deal?
Yes! Be sure to give your friend a note saying he has permission to pick up your race packet - also a copy of your picture ID, so we know he’s ligit. Z
Bike will be clean and clear by race day! The staff arrives the Wed. before the race and will spend Wed, Thurs. and Friday cleaning the course! Z

Is there a plan to re-pave any of the roads along the course this week or next?
The “chip and seal” on the bike course was completed in June and we have MDOT’s assurance that they “will not” chip and seal course roads before the race. That being said, three years ago the contruction company that got the contract to “chip and seal” in Van Buran County read the map wrong and ended up “chip and sealing” one of our roads one week before the event. We were able to change the bike course to stay off that road. Let’s hope we have some good map readers working the road crews this year.
