It seems a no brainer to take the Steelers but I will not underestimate the Cards. I have the Steelers winning 31 - 24.
I just hope McGahee is o.k. That was a wicked hit he took.
Remember his last play in college against Ohio State? Where he took a viscious hit to his knee that wrecked it?
McGahee was having a really good game, especially in picking up the blitz … a skill/act that goes widely unnoticed … except for this game, where the play-by-play dide was all over it.
As for the SB … Arizona will likely be a big underdog, at least in recognition. Should be an interesting matchup, with either Zona making history or Pitt adding to their own illustrious history. Will this be 6 titles for Pitt if they win?

Speaking of Boldin, that was quite a hissyfit he was throwing on the sideline w/ the O coord. Todd Haley yesterday. Boldin didn’t give any post game interviews either.
All the local PHX sports media still can’t believe that the Cardinals are going. They have to keep saying it over and over to remind themselves.
Wonder how many Cardinal fans will travel to Tampa? You just know that Steeler fan travels. Not sure about Card fan.
If the Cardinals can keep it rolling on both Off. and Def., it should be a good SB.
I am on Superbowl boycott until the Lions make it to the “Big Dance.” Even if it means that I will never watch another Superbowl in my life time. I know this is a real possibility.

I think this will be a better game than most expect. The Cards have the kind of quarterback/offense that can give Pittsburgh fits, especially if Warner gets the ball out quickly and the Steelers can’t pressure him. Lots of 7-10 yard passes that will add up, and then set up the run for the Cards. But then again if Pittsburgh’s punishing defense gets them out of rhythm it could be a very long day for Kurt Warner. This reminds me of the Pittsburgh/Indianapolis battles of recent years. When Pittsburgh beat them in the divisionals a few years ago it was becuase the kept Manning and his receivers out of sync and controlled the ball on offense. I see the Cards as a very similar team. However, unlike Philly, I don’t think Pittsburgh will miss so many plays on offense. At times yesterday Donovan M. looked plain awful.

You guys were damn lucky to get him to Pitt. He had family out there and that helped make that decision. About 6 Vikings went and watched him play a game in high school. Cris Carter called up OSU and told them they better not let Fitz get away from them. He was offered a ride there based on that phone call alone.
