Not any better. In fact the 3D effect was terrible, periphial and background parts of the scene were fuzzy. Outside of the fact my 8 y/o son thoroughly enjoyed himself, this re-release in 3D was a total waste of money.
The popcorn was tasty though.
I went last weekend with my daughter. I didnt go for the 3D, I went for the experience with my daughter who was young when it was released. We had a blast.

Believe me, I’m the last guy on earth to scream racism but the first thing I said to my wife when I walked out of the theater (original release of Ep. 1) was “is it me or was that movie totally racist?” She completely agreed.

It was kind of fun when we were on our way home last weekend because we passed the Drive-In whjere I watched the original in 77. My DNA is also corrupted. I have been spending my day ( off and on) playing the new Star Wars MMO with equally Star Wars-tastic friends.
I thought I had wiped it from my memory and then last weekend rolls around and it gets mentioned and I enter into a funk.
Yep. The first 3 were magic; the next ones sucked. I cringe every time that idiot who plays the older Anakin opens his cake hole. The only one I can stomach at all is the last one, and even it is at the bottom end of mediocre.
