Stage 15 potential spoiler I guess

For the spoiler police out there.

Periero taking a page out of Hincapie’s book?

16:53 CEST 176.5km/4km to go
Mazzoleni and Pereiro absolutely refuse to come past for a turn as Evans goes under 4 km to go.

I realize that there are differences to the situations, but it’s seems pretty ironic that the stage after Pereiro was bitching about someone not coming through and helping he is doing the exact same thing.

**4:57 p.m. **- Evans is pushing it hard, with the other three on his wheel…

Now they go.
… and this time Pereiro gets the win. (and yes, we do see the irony)

Looks like George taught him a lesson in cycling tactics!

Thanks a lot. Now I’m laughing at work and have alerted the boss that I’m not working.

Stage 16
.

Damn cyclingnews had their link labeled wrong.

I’m losing it here.

Valverde did the same in his stage 10 win over LA. He sat in the back of the four man pack resting while LA pulled them up the mountain.

Yes, but you didn’t hear Lance bitching when Valverde outsprinted him for the win (a la Pereiro about Hincapie).

Lance had the class to say the Valverde may be the future of cycling.

mp

This is more pointing out that this sitting in the breakaway happens a lot. Others were complaining about how it was “unfair” and Pereiro himself was bitching about Hincapie sitting in all day and then sprinting for the win.

You dumbass! Today is stage 16!!!

Fix the damn subject!

get bent
.

Edit your first post, change the subject, and don’t be a dick.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in the Phonak bus when their DS said “Oscar, nice job on the break. You looked good. It would have been a shame if Cadel had stayed behind your teammate in the GC. Have you guys met, by the way? Oscar, this is Floyd. At least the people on ST won’t be all over you.”

How many times a day does Johan say to himself “WTF are they doing?” w/regards to the tactics of other teams.

Absolutely. It’s just part of the game.

Hmmmmm…

wrong hmmmmm…

Hmmmm… How does he have energy to be in the break 2 days in a row?

he works one day (and loses) and sits in the wheels the next day (and wins)
