Robbie McEwen (DVL), got the break he needed to be back in the race for the green, and it appears blew it by missing the break away. Why isnt his team at the front trying to move the peloton?
Ok, so as soon as I type this they come to the front and start to close the gap.
Still not dure if that’s the best thing to do. Given this stage’s profile, I doubt whether Hushovd and O’Grady can make it to the finish. In that case, the odds of Axl Merckx winning the stage are comparable to those of McEwen winning it (getting the break back, getting Robbie over the climbs, holding the pack together, and winning the sprint).
We have a new player in the Tour who could overthrow all the teams easily! That player did his first Tour in 1998…his name…the French Customs! started searching a Phonak car, a Liberty Seguros car after the arrest of Dario Frigo yesterday
I though you were going to talk about Beltran, what a blow to DSC!

And in the end the French take the day.

Frigo was arrested? That guy can’t stay off the dope, wasn’t he suspended a few years back?
His wife was busted with drugs in her car.
Sad, really sad
.
strike 2 for him…he is out…his wife was driving a car and was arrested by the customs…EPO and all sorts of stuff in the car…
Frigo’s team was ‘in shock’ (yeah right!)
“Frigo’s team was 'in shock”
Of course they are in shock, where the heck are they going to find a new pusher this short notice?
