Yes, there have been lots of problems with the bikes showing up in St Croix. Two years ago my husband flew in on Wednesday and didn’t get his bike until Friday night. Even with that, the airline wouldn’t let him know when it came in, the athletes had to keep checking the airport. Not a cheap taxi ride. Joe finally hired a taxi driver to watch for it.

The trip home was just as bad, the bike didn’t show up for 3 full days. At least they delivered it form Miami to Naples for us.

Hope they do better this year.

You have virtually no chance of your bike getting with you to St. Croix. However, everyone’s bike gets there eventually. I arrived on Wednesday, sans bike, and was told it would get there on Friday, and much to my surprise, after a sleepless night (“Oh my god, what if my bike does not come”) it was in the hotel lobby Thursday. The airline delivered it.
