Sent my SRM PC-V in for a new battery. Rode with it a few times after it came back and the power numbers seemed high. Turns out the slope setting was wrong: was set at 15.9 and should have been 18.3.
Does anyone know the correlation or how to account for this in WKO+
You need to adjust via SRMWin. If you really want, you can download the SRM manual - it has the formula used to derive the power numbers, and then put that into an excel spreadsheet.
SRMWin is by far the easier route.
Not true. You can easilly change your slope on the Powercontroller without your computer by pressing MODE+PRO+SET and then scrolling-through. MODE changes which number, SET and PRO increase or decrease the ‘flashing’ value. The slope will have an “S” flashing next to it in the second screen…
Can I take my WKO workouts and export them to SRMWin, fix them and then send them back?
I’ve tried to do that but I having trouble getting them back into WKO.
Thanks for the help though, at least I’ve got an idea of the power changes.

Do you think this addresses the OP’s question? He wants to alter the data from that first ride, not change the slope for future rides.
I don’t have access to WKO or SRMWIN, but I think you should be able to. Why won’t WKO import the file?
if you didn’t originally download into the native format, I think you’re SOL on a quick way to change the slope without going the spreadsheet route. This is one of the reasons it’s worth it to download into WIN then open in WKO.
The new SRMWin file does not have date for some reason and so WKO doesn’t seem to know what to do with it.
Maybe save it in SRMWin (“export”) as a .csv file? Or try one of the other formats available in SRMWin? Hopefully WKO+ will then be able to handle it.
I would recommend always downloading to SRMWin for this very reason. You can export as a text file and WKO+ can deal with it well.

MAYBE…
The OP mentioned that he did a few rides… if he has done LESS hours than the memory of the unit has (at the recording interval he set) than the data is still there. The powercontroller does not delet data, it overwrites it as space is needed.
With SRMWin, if you shift+download it dumps all of the memory of the powercontroller. Even files you have saved and cleared. So probably the last 10-15hrs of trianing data are still there.
Download them into SRMWin, change the slope and drop back into wko+
This, in conjunction with the changing the ZO if that is necessary (ie I forgot!) is one of the reasons I double download into SRMWin and wko+. The engineer in me prefers having a native file.
