Admittedly this is not critical since the PC6 records 65-hours of data at .5 rec interval but does anyone know if WKO clears the memory after each download?
In the past, when I logged training rides with the PC5 and afterwards downloaded to CyclingPeaks WKO 2.2 build 106, after the file was downloaded, users had to click the clear device button. Now with the PC6, after I download, if I click the clear device button the dialog returns an error to unplug/replug the power control. To try and figure this out, I downloaded and printed out the entire manual for the wireless SRM and while it aludes to clearing memory as part of the normal download process, the manual never comes out and states that a normal download to SRMWin software clears the memory.
mine does the same thing. Its kinda a pain because the next time you ride and download all of the prev. rides are downloaded again. I go to the SRMwin program after wko and use that to clear them. Any better ideas would be nice!
I may be wrong, but, I think Device Agent will clear the PC VI. This is great if you use Training Peaks, but, if you are only using WKO, I guess you would have to run Device Agent after WKO, which is about the same as running SRMWin.
After reading the replied yesterday, I filed a support request and here is the reply I got back:
The clear device feature in WKO+ was designed for Ergomo devices but in some cases the SRM would work as well. If you are no longer able to utilize this
feature, you will need to use the manufacturers software to clear the device.
