SRM on a P3

Has anyone wired a P3 with the SRM kit?

The frame shape makes it impossible to use cable ties for the crank sensor.

Maybe 2 way tape…any ideas?

I made it work on my Aegis T2 (which the P3 was copied from  ). Don’t even bother with cable ties. There’s no way to get them to work. Use lots of electrical tape. There’s an outside chance the SRM Mtb sensor might work better – let me know if you try it.

Oh… and don’t forget, you gotta do it when the crank is off.

hope that helps, Jens

I have set up many aero bikes with an srm- here is my recipe.

1.) Remove crank- note relative position of sensor in relation to bb shell on a regular bike.

2.) attach sensor to frame with adhesive backed velcro instead of rubber ban or ties. On side on frame- on side on back of sensor base. This allow you to be able to move the sensor round slightly if you need to for best pick-up.

reinstall crank and check function.

Good luck,
