SRM data download problems

I just got a new computer (HP laptop) with Windows Vista, downloaded the lastest SRM program from their website yet I am having issues downloading the data from the PC V to the computer. It starts to download (has gotten up to 95%) and then all the sudden the computer shuts off and restarts. I have tried re-installing the software (both the new version from the website and the old version I have on CD) however, the same problem keeps occuring. My old computer had Windows XP and I did not have any of these issues.

Any guidance/advice would be much appreciated! Thanks.

i had a similar issue where it would connect but not download, i tried a diff version off the website and it worked fine.

Join the Wattage group, on google. They talk about this stuff all day.
