I currently ride the S60s but just picked up the Bontragers on my Speed Concept. I know the Bontragers use a HED design but they also are slightly shallower (50mm vs 60mm) which makes them slightly lighter. These are/will be my all around wheelset (race and train on).
So which ones do I keep?
mmm, keep what you have and sell the bonti’s as brand new. You’ll get more money for them.
I doubt you’d ever notice much difference between the performance of the two, I’d go with deeper if that was an issue, as a rule of thumb, especially as you say the shape is similar. I’ve never seen the bont’s though.
That’s what I was thinking although was looking for anyone with feed back on the bontrager.
Has anyone been on both or have any experience on the bontragers?
