I would like to know also, I ordered a 44/55 set in December, 2008 from a reputable company.
I spoke to someone at SRAM today and none have shipped yet. They are saying that first shipments to OEM and QBP should be April 1st.

I just ordered some from ebikestop.com I think they only have the 54t though and somehow I ordered it and it should be here on Mon…but now the website says they are out of stock…so maybe I got the last one from there. The distributor that my my bike shop uses did have the 54T in stock…about 35. Luckily I got my order in because now they are sold out. According to the distributors website the 54 and 55T are expected to be in stock April 16th. If you are having problems getting your hands on one PM me and I can keep checking the stock and order you one when they become available.
Ok, anyone know anything about when the 55 TT rings will be available? Mine have been on back order since mid December 2008. I can’t blame the shop but, they indicated that the rings might be available around May sometime as of today. This is in addition to the time I was told they would be available in early January, early February, early March, early April and so on. So, is there any one out there who is associated with SRAM that may know?

I am not affiliated with Sram but my distributors website says 5/25/09 for both the 54 and 55.
so that means 2010?
A couple of weeks back they got about 35 of the 54T. Those sold out in about 5 days. I was lucky enough to get my order in… barely
