I’m looking at swapping the Campagnolo Centaur 10 sp. compact crankset (ca. 2004) on my road bike for a SRAM Quarq S975 compact crankset, which comes with SRAM Red chainrings. I’d get a new SRAM BB, too. This will just be for the fall and winter, and then the Quarq will go on my new tri bike next spring. I have a Campagnolo Record 10 chain. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with this kind of setup, or can foresee any problems, particularly with the Campy chain/SRAM tooth combination. If so, I wonder whether a SRAM PC-1071 chain would get along any better with a Campy 10-speed cassette. Thanks.
Wont be a problem. For the rings 10speed is 10 speed. Its the cassette spacing that causes the problems.
