I just got some R2C shifters. Well, I accidentally unscrewed the 5mm bolt your not suppose to. Anyone have any direction on putting it back together?
send them in for a replacement set…contact your nearest Sram rep/LBS

Yep send them back. They have to be put back together by SRAM.
There really isn’t much to them, just need to know what goes in when. I called SRAM today but they were closed.
The problem can be if you messed up the spring and gearing mechanism. Just send them in for repair.
I called them to find out the process of what to do. Due to the fact I hadn’t pulled the spring out, he just walked me through reassembling it. It wasn’t all that bad, but if you pull the spring out you’ll have to send them back. They have to hand wind the spring back into place some how. I got lucky. Great customer service from them! The reason why my Cervelo is getting all Red and my Stumpjumper has all XX.
Whats the correct number to call for this, the only one i can find is there corporate hq in chicago, is this correct?
