Squeaking question (Spd-SL's)

I hate pedals that squeak. Every pair of pedals I have ever had squeaked. I am sick of the damn squeaking. I know how to get rid of the squeaking, but the squeaking always comes back, like a pair of bloody mice that I step on with each pedal stroke. Squeak, squeak, squeak, 180 times every minute, for 2, 3, 4 hours. It drives me bananas.

ShimaNO users, do the new SPD-SL’s squeak?

I have two pair - one Ultegra, one 105-level (540?). Neither squeak.

Yes, mine do a lot of the freaking time. I read that it’s due to the hourglass body piece wearing away. They can be purchased separately. Pretty weak if you ask me for a top of the line pedal.
