Anyone heading to Square Lake Half Iron this sunday?

This group doesn’t happen to be students, does it? Coincidently, I am supposed to be having lunch here in Mpls/St Paul with a group of students from Winnipeg today.

ahhh my first ever 1/2 IM, brings back great memories. was pretty chilly there last year, but a great little race and a lot of fun! that hill by the run turnaround sucks.
No - I live here in the Twin Cities… I won’t be racing square lake - I’m driving to Madison tomorrow to cheer on some friends doing the ironman.
Good luck at the square lake 1/2! Beautiful course, but the race tends to be a little disorganized. In years past, participants have gone off course and have had to fill their own water cups at unmanned stations. Hopefully you won’t have troubles like that this year.
I’m doing the Sprint on Saturday. Good luck with the half. The forecast was showers earlier in the week for Sunday, but I just checked and it has been changed to
partly cloudy and 63. Nice and chilly for your swim start.
