So I was all set to head to Galveston, until I realized they moved the race out, so bummed.
Any recommendations for a good race over spring break?
Considering Ironman Florida 70.3, can’t find much else out there. ANyone have any feedback on the race in Haines City?
I’ll be there. Most of the roads for the course are freshly paved fwiw.
New Orleans? or is that a week too late? I’m thinking of doing it this year as an early season A or B+ race.

Wet suit legal swim (last year), very flat and fast bike course, fairly flat 3 loop run. Run was spectator friendly but did have construction on the course that made a portion of the run non-passable, but I’m sure that will be fixed. (I felt really bad for the fast people)
Not much to do in the area other than race. About 1 1/2 hours from Tampa.

Depends when your spring break is but check out Ocenside 70.3. Awesome place(except for basically no one on the bike course cause it’s a military base). Good condos to rent steps from the race.
I remember the good old days when spring break was all about getting drunk and laid.
Spring break for me is early april 4-12.
Florida looks like a cool race. Will check out the others as well.
