In May I will graduate from college and am interested in getting involved with athlete management. Obviously, companies like Sotox who represent endurance athletes are of particular interest. I was wondering if any of you guys/gals know of any similar companies that I could look into. Also, I would love an opportunity to speak with someone who is involved in this field, so if anyone out there wants to help out an aspiring newbie it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried IMG (International Management Group)? (our biggest rival in the hockey industry)
They represent all different kinds of athletes and if I’m not mistaken are involved with IMNZ.

On a more serious note, does anyone in the industry see a potential sports marketing/management industry in China I could get involved with? I wouldn’t mind being the next Yao Ming’s agent, but I’d probably end up as his translator:-(
