I used it and it caused heart palpitations for me. As soon as I stopped using it they stopped happening. WHile I used it I never felt any difference in my legs.
Here is an alternative.
The clinic study was completed by the grad adviser who I have absolute faith in. If he reported it, its what really happened.

I got a bottle once, tried it a few times, didn’t notice any appreciable improvements. I certainly wanted to see something positive.
I still have most of the bottle left, sitting up on a shelf someplace.
Prevents me from getting cramps, nothing much else (although not cramping is huge for me…).
Seems to help the rest of my teammates (and I recommended it to them).
Mr. Cervelo, SportLegs works so well it’s normal to wonder if it’s legal. It’s completely WADA/USADA/UCI legal, and healthy to boot.
Do all the pros use it? Think they’re going to tell you? We know some do, like 2006, 2007 and 2009 Masters Time Trial World Champion Mike Olheiser, who has appeared in SportLegs ads in Bicycling magazine this year. Masters Time Trial is essentially equivalent to the Tri bike segment. Take a look at Mike’s awesome competition record: http://www.usacycling.org/results/index.php?compid=133375
By the way, definitely agree with your bike choice. SportLegs gives me the legs I need to make my Cervelo RS fly!
Do you like it so much that you name yourself after it or is it your company?
Both, actually. Should have properly introduced myself: Carl Holmes, President of Sport Specifics, Inc.
So is there a ST discount or free samples for the ST crowd to see said claims ?
Sorry you didn’t get any of the goodie-bag samples at the Memphis in May Triathlon. We’re honored to be contributing more free samples at most of the national MS150 rides again this summer, at the invitation of their many members who personally love the stuff for their events.
We understand most people want to try it before paying $26.95 for a bottle. Performance Bicycle and many independent bike shops in all 50 states sell single-dose SportLegs packets for $1.79. We discount six $1.79 single-dose samples for $8.99 plus your choice of shipping at www.sportlegs.com.
If you’re like most people, when you finally do try it, you’ll wish you’d tried it sooner. As Kurt Schweitzer at The Village Sport Shop in Lyndonville, Vermont kindly emailed us in April, “You guys have a fantastic product that delivers benefits far in excess of most individuals’ expectations, such a rarity.”
Found it at rei will get this week and give a shot

Dear Mr. Sportlegs and Mr. Cervelo,
This kind of viral marketing usually doesn’t go down very well on ST. You might say it causes stomach cramps and bloating. ![]()
Beware the moderators – their sword is swift and merciless.
I got a sample in a goodie bag and tried it for cycling only on a tough hill workout day. I definitely felt stronger than normal. Only a one time shot for me so definitely give one of those $1.79 single packs a try and see for yourself.

It’s been two years, has the study been published?

X2!!! David K
Just like any other supplement (or drug for that matter) all people will have different experiences or reactions based on dosage, length of use etc… that said Sportlegs certainly doesn’t fall within the “snake oil” category. There are too many credible, professional users to make a blanket statement like that.
Just because fast people use Sportslegs doesn’t mean that Sportsleg isn’t snake oil. Maybe it is a good product. I don’t know. Hell, I love the Red Sox and half of their pitching staff uses those electro-band-hologram-necklace thingies. I have a feeling Clay Buchholz and Jon Lester would still be dominant pitchers without them.
