Spoke count question

Quick question…I"m shopping about for a set of used Jets for my bike – a couple of Jet60s or Jet60 on front and Jet Deep on back.

Would I be able to use an 18-spoke setup, or should I only look at a higher spoke count?

General info:

700c rims

I am 6’1" tall and weigh ~170-174 lbs.

Do I need to worry about an 18-spoke count not being strong enough to support me and not warp – over time? Not sure if its is a concern or not.

I’m 150 and had 24 spoke Jet 60 in 700 and 18 spoke in 650. I’m sure the 18 spoke would have been fine in 700.

I have a first year they were produced 24hole rear jet. Haven’t had to true it yet.
