Note the other thread on this page that also addresses this very event. However, it has “spoiler” in the subject line so as not to spoil the surprise for those who will watch TV coverage of the race later today. You might want to add “spoiler” to the subject line.
Distractions can do wonders to keeping your mind off your job. The F. Landis bit may have rattled his cage a bit–as it would anyone making allegations about their entire career being a hoax. I sure hope FL has some proof aside from his emails, or I’d think LA would come after FL & take whatever the guy has left in his pockets.

Because the commentators would have waited until the end of the race to tell you he crashed at mile 4 and abandoned at mile 13? Asshat.

A. I hope he’s OK (off to the hospital for x-ray checks)
B. Even if the crash was minor I’d wager he’d take the opportunity to exit the ToC and not have to deal with the Landis issue press scrum for the rest of the week.

I was just watching CNN and that asshat Ricks List guy compared Lance Armstrong to Tiger Woods saying that it was an interesting coincidence that two athletes embroiled in controversy are no longer performing to their level. He was insinuating that LA crashing was caused by the doping controversy. What a moron.
