Spiuk Kronos with Radars?

Hello All,
Just got a Spiuk Kronos for the new season, and it appears that my oakley halfjackets are having a hard time fitting underneath. I was thinking about getting a pair of Radars anyway, does anyone have any experience wearing Radars under a Kronos helmet?

I ran that setup last year a little snug but it does fit.

Go with Zeros before Radars. You want something with no top ridge. But they’ll both fit.

Rumor has it that the upcoming Oakley Jawbone temples will work better for TT helmets. Wait a few weeks and try those too.

I have the Rudy SportMask that I use with the Spiuk Kronos, and they work great together. The glasses don’t have a frame on the top, so you don’t have that annoying you all race. I think they have some sort of special going on right now too.

The Radar is a bit of a tight fit but you can easily modify the helmet a bit to make them work well. Use a heat gun or even a heated up screwdriver (heat gun works better…) and heat the insides of the ear pieces until the plastic softens. You can usually tell when polycarbonate is at a temp it can be worked as it’ll start to twist and turn on it’s own a bit right before it gets there. Press in the inside of the ear pieces creating a channel on each side for the sunglass earstems. When finished and viewing from the front you’ll have a semi-circle indent in the front of the ear piece and when you put your Radars on, if you positioned it right they now have perfect clearance. Worked well for me and it’s impressed pretty much everyone who’s tried it on.

I’m riding the Lazer Bullet now and it actually seems like a nicer helmet than the Spiuk. It feels a lot lighter, has a LOT better retention system, works with glasses well and the ear coverage is pretty comfy.

I have some Spiuk Ventix, which fit great, if you are interested… http://dpmsports.com/prod02-eyewear/ventix/ventix.html …in black if you are interested.

Hard case, 3 sets of lens’, soft silk bag…$60 shipped.

I’m thinking about getting a Spiuk KRONOS Helmet but my melon is fairly small and i see that this helmet only comes in a Medium / Large. is this gonna be an issue? Anyone with a smaller head tried this helmet? Did it work for you?
Cheers!
