Thinking of buying a used set of 2000 Spinergy XAERO rims. The seller says that Spinergy allows a max. of 2mm from true. What is your experience with these rims. Thanks for your response.
I have been using Xaeros for a little more than 1 year. I bought them to use as both a training and race wheel. So far, no problems with them running out of true. There is a special tool needed to adjust the spoke tension. Be sure to get it if you buy the wheels. My recommendation is buy them if the price is right. They have proven to be durable, comfortable, and fast (if not quite as aero as Zipps or something similar) for me.
