anyone riding these? 43-45mm, carbon, kinda light,how are they for the money? thanks
Are you looking at the all carbon series or the standard stealth?
The FC(full carbon) series are actually very nice. The rims are made by Corima and combined with the PBO spokes they make a very smooth and comfortable ride. The standrd Stealth wheels with the aluminum braking surface are an okay wheelset.
I have been riding the older version (Tilliums) w/ PBOs and have really enjoyed them. They made for a super comfortable ride and seemed to have pretty good power transfer. Also, I think they look pretty cool. I bought my pair a couple of years ago for around $700, so I thought they were pretty good for the money. I had the Xearo lite set before that and upgraded to the Tilliums.
I’m going to sell the ones I have now b/c I’m getting a bike w/ 700c wheels, but I have nothing but good things to say about the spinergy’s.
anyone know the suggested rider weight limit…I’m around 200lbs, for some wheels I just weigh too much…thanks
