Anyone have any experience with these? I’ve got the opportunity to pick one up at a pretty hard to beat price, but I don’t know a whole lot about trispokes made by anyone other than Specialized/Hed. Are they of decent quality/relatively aero/safe? I’m assuming it must be on the older side.
They are quite old. No, they are not the same as the Hed/Specialized wheels. Not as strong, a good bit heavier. A cold search on the internet will give you much more information.
+1. I had one a few years back and they were old then. Quite heavy, but great bearing! Pardon the pun, but it would spin forever.
The Hed trispoke would be a better option.
I had a set once, many, many years ago. Not sure if they are even carbon fibre, seem to recall some material called “Thermoplastic”. They had decent bearings but the rims were prone to run out, dipping in a few mm inwards between each of the three spokes - made the ride a little juddery !
