We’re heading back there next year for my cousins wedding and it just happens to be my 40th a couple of days before this race. Grew up riding those roads as from Grantham originally so I’m thinking I’ll give this race a nudge, might even do the unthinkable and qualify for Chicago…in the red, white and blue 
If that’s the red, white and blue in the Union Flag, there might not be any blue by the time chicago comes around!
Ahh I see, the sprint is the national champs innit. Nice work sneaking into the V40 category, glad to have you out of M35-39 !! 
With that and the Lincoln Sportive in June going around the Wolds, it’s shaping up to be a great little holiday.
In terms of Tri clubs, which would be the local club to Grantham? I don’t ever recall them having one, I know there is one in Lincoln as we went O/Water with them one year when we were back there.

Not sure as I’m up in Yorkshire, but I think I saw some Belvoir Tri Club kit at the club relays this year, if so that would definitely be the most local club to the race!! Lincoln Tri Club had a pretty big presence at the relays too.
Never heard of this race, but suddenly I really want one of their t-shirts.

The route changed last year from the one you posted this was my bad bike leg for this years Little Beaver which is 2 laps
