Hello All,
My Speedplay X Pedals have a bad bearing after several years of use.
Probably my fault due to a missed lube at some point or crashing them a couple of times.
I bought a new set but would like to repair my old ones.
Anyone know where I can get new bearings installed or buy the bearings myself to install?
Ceramics for the ball bearings would be nice with a longer service life.
It looks like a special tool is needed to press the old ones out and the new ones in.
I have a set of old bearings in hand for sizes. Each bearing is a different size.
There are needle bearings in one race , and two ball bearing races.
Cheers,
Neal
Edit: Just found this from Speedplay website:
Can I purchase replacement bearings and parts for my Zero Pedals?
Yes, parts and replacement kits are available from retailers for all current Speedplay pedal systems.
