I’ve done a bunch of searches and it appears that it is possible to get the 705 to pick up speed and cadence from the PT hub. I have the
Garmin speed and cadence sensor, but would prefer to leave the bike cleaner and not use it. My 705 is picking up power from the hub, not
not speed or cadence. In the Ant+ sub-menu, I’ve got power set to yes, but speed cadence set to yes (I’ve tried both settings). I also have the cadence box “ticked” on the bike profile. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Also, when you click on “Calibrate Power” on the 705, I was under the impression that it was supposed to display the hub ID (as in
indication that it was done with the calibration I presume??). Mine just has a series of blank dashes. Is this a similar behavior to what
others have experienced (the unit does match up closely with the yellow PT head unit).
