I just saw on their website that the new 2007 Transition Pro is only $1100 F/F. Is this their S Works model, which was listed at $1700 for the past 2 yrs. So is my frame now worth $600 less or is there some reason they priced the 07 model so cheap. Any ideas. I feel cheated!

Good thing you don’t start thinking about the cost of your computer and the cost of a computer with far less power 5 years ago…
The S-works has been the same as the expert for the last 2 years (same frame and fork and post) so you cheated yourself a bit by paying extra for the S-Works label. And yes it is now called the pro as they have a carbon bike in the works that will take the S-Works label. Only the multisport model in the transition lineup lacks the same frame as the s-works had so it was always iffy claiming that it was superior.

Not sure on the exact geometry, but should be full tri geometry. Word is that it will come out late 2007 as an early release 2008 model. Its gonna be full carbon. Expect it to have the carbon s-works crankset (just like their '07 s-works tarmac, roubiax, & tricross). I’ll try to keep you updated, as I’m pretty interested in this myself .
