Are they sold online (other than Specialized’s site) or only at dealers?

Such as? I did a Yahoo search and only saw reults for Specialized website and ebay.

The only two places to buy them online in the US are through Specialized.com or ebay. There are advantages to buying shoes from your LBS unless you are very confident you have the correct size (even Specialized changed their mold up a half size from 2010 to 2011…)

Do you feel there would be some sort of advantage to buying them at an online bike shop versus Specialized.com? The price is the same.

At least Yahoo linked me to the Specialized website, not sites in England selling limited size shoes and a store on Long Island selling shoes from 2008 and 2009 available in-store only.

If you notice those “online” shops are not actually selling online. You have to call the brick and mortar shop and they will ship it to you.

Specialized is characterized as a bully of the industry, but they have fought very hard for brick and mortar shops which are facing more and more difficulty in the internet age.

boycott Art’s. I had a big problem as a child and havent shopped there since. I guess its better now that Art doesnt own it anymore, but now when you go inside, they are all elitist and have horrible customer service now.
