I have a new pair that is having some issues. Shop said it would facilitate a warranty replacement if I had receipt and was original owner. I am original owner but no receipt. Has anyone had experience dealing with Specialized directly on shoe warranties? the shoes are 2011 models and look unused. Less than 100 miles. don’t know how they could claim they are outside of warranty. Experiences? Thanks
You should have no issue. I had a warranty issue get handled with no receipt. Just find a friendly shop.
Well this shop seemed friendly until they asked if I bought my shoes from them (I didn’t). Then when I told them I don’t have a receipt they shrugged their shoulders. Only specialized dealer in the area. I couldn’t find it anywhere on the website, but does anyone know Specialized official policy on shoe warranty?
X2 no receipt, store sent em back and gave me new shoes no questions asked
.
Call specialized directly.
Did you buy them on ebay, then officially they don’t need to help you. Specialized only deals through authorized dealers. Why can’t you go back to the shop you purchased from, at least in the shop I worked, we had a multi-year record of purchases by name.
I had 08 comps no receipt. Moved to new area and brought them to LBS. They called specialized and I was credited $150 towards new shoe
