Special slowtwitch discount from Coffees of Hawaii

One of our fellow Slowtwitchers Albert Boyce did not only finish third at the Auburn International triathlon, but he also is one of the folks behind www.coffeesofhawaii.com.

I suggested to him to offer a discount to slowtwitchers and asked Dan aka Slowman if he was ok with, and Dan gave the thumbs up.

So here it is, a 20% discount of Coffees of Hawaii with the promo code ST07

Here is how it works, go to www.coffeesofhawaii.com and put the items you want in the shopping cart. At the checkout you will be asked if you have a “promo code.” Enter the code ST07 and make sure to use capital letters. Discount will automatically be applied and shown to you. The discount is 20% off anything in the store.

I love guerrilla marketing. Especially when there is coffee involved.

I’m huge fan of Coffees of Hawaii, try the expresso blend!

Mmmmmm… Coffee, why did I have to come across this at 11:00 at night?

Do you have any recommendations?

Nutz, no decafs. I love coffee but the caffeine is a major migraine trigger for me. (I would give up a hand to be able to drink caffeine again, to be honest)

Huge, huge fan of Coffees of Hawaii. Not only is their coffee excellent but the entire concept of their company is as well. I encourage everyone to check out their site and learn about the values behind their company and plantations.

I wish them nothing but continued success…now on to order some more coffee ;)!

I’ve been told that they are going to start making a decaf option sometime next year.

I heard about Coffees of Hawaii from the podcast Ironmantalk. I ordered some and definitely was not disappointed. Very good coffee.

Steve

FANTASTIC! Thanks so much!

we drink a TON of espresso and coffee around here; moreso with my husband now running his business out of the house alongside me!

so–this made my day.

I personally like the Molalani Estate, and my girlfriend really likes the Espresso.

Herbert

Thanks Herbert and Albert

I have been looking for a good Hawaii coffee source for a while, with 20% off as a bounus.

So, which blend do you think Albert had in his water bottle to get third at the Auburn International ?

DB

InfinitNutrition in the water bottle! Have to save coffee for helping me get out the door.

The question should be, what time will Albert crank out at Ironman CdA this weekend.

Albert

Good luck at CdA, maybe a shot in special needs?

I have to report that I’ve been impressed with the service so far. I placed an order yesterday morning, right after I read the post, and it had shipped that same day. I’m anxious to get a taste!

Thanks
DB

I too could use some recommendations. I don’t drink coffee but my wife does. She tends to like the sweet, milky blends, not the dark stuff at all. She’s a big fan of starbucks but I’m not sure which coffee. Any suggestions? I am totally clueless when it comes to coffee.

good to hear! Please let me know your taste impressions after you receive it.

Try the vanilla and mac nut blends. I’m not a huge fan of sweeter coffees, but this tasted great with some vanilla soy milk.

trifan:

have her try the “malulani estate”…it’s not dark roasted and very smooth. she can sweeten it up as she likes. or, try any of the lighter roasted “island style” blends we offer. 90% of the beans in those blends come from our Nicaragua plantation. they are very smooth also. we don’t buy beans from any traders.

Albertte

I got some Malulani Estate and some MuleSkinner. I’ll let you know.

BTW - Why do you just offer just Kona Blends and not 100% Kona?

Thanks

DB

stand by…we are working on a 100% Kona label. Hope to debut it at or before Kona IM this year.
