Anyone made the switch or at least using the new Time RXS pedals? Any thoughts, observations, or silly remarks? LBS started carrying these and the owner (good friend) is touting the virtues such as larger platform pedal platform, more adjustable, lighter weight, and more durable cleat design and I am starting to consider taking the plunge but that would mean purchasing 3-sets of pedals not just one (TT, Road, Crit bike)!
I too have been tempted by the sirens of the LBS. Let me know how it works out.

I have them on my Issac Joule and love them, in fact I’m putting them on all my bikes!

That’s funny. I just finished typing a response to Bob’s question about pedals in another thread.
I did make the switch from Shimano Dura-Ace SPD SL to Time RXS, after two years on Shimano or more.
I have had six knee surgeries and a broken back, so my pedal set-up is important. I was never satisfied with the Dura-Ace SPD SL pedal. It is not a bad pedal by any stretch, it is just not personal favorite for a few reasons: The center of the rotation for the float of the Time pedals is closer to the center of pedal body/axle. This feels more appropriate to me and less stressful. The Shimano pedal (and all Look pedals) have their center of rotational movement right at the front of the cleat. That feels odd to me- very insecure. The RXS is very low to the pedal axle. The cleat itself is absurdly slim. Your foot is right on the axle. This feels very responsive. Engagement and disengagement from both pedals is excellent.
It is difficuolt for me to articulate why I like the Time RXS so much better, but I think it is the best pedal system I have ever used. I did not like the Time Impact at all, and thought it was really quite a flop. I wanted to like them, and I tried them for a month- which is not very long but they were so bad it only took a week or two to tell they weren’t for me.

I don’t know Tom but the way I read your last post, seemed to me you articulated the reason pretty well. I think I may give them a go when (if) my frameset TCR Advanced arrives (wife got hers last month - grumble, grumble).
I love my RXS’s… great pedals, I can’t think of a bad thing about them.
I like my RSX, but I think that I like the OLD Time Titan Mag pedals better
