Is it OK to have an unstretched spare tubular for an IM? I need to buy a new tubular but won’t be able to stretch it (no “available rim”). Is it just little bit more difficult to install? Thx

It is next to impossible to install. I would pull the old tire off and use that wheel and then remount it once the new one is stretched.
You can use a clincher rim.
Put that bad boy on a clincher rim, inflate to about 160+, leave for about three days (or longer), then stretch. Repeat process.
You would NEVER get it on if you needed it in a race if not prestretched.
