I had replied to the email and sales@trisports stating that I do not mind receiving regular promo emails that I did not appreciate the spam, that looks like they sold my email, which was NOT the case. They removed me from their list. Very quick reply on the email. Mainly glad they did not sell it.
I was pretty excited. I didn’t even know I raced. Now I need to figure out where I finished, and if, per Greg Lemond’s rationale of “TDFGLSHW” (Tour de Frances Greg Lemond Should Have Won), I am entitled to any prize money… It could be a good day.
I can assure you that they do not sell their email lists. I would know, I’m dating their marketing director. I also know the wrong list was pulled and this wasn’t an attempt to spam you.

I received the same and didn’t do Vineman … I just replied to their e-mail and they sent me a response that they just mixed up their lists … but I could have the same offer … and apologized for the mix-up. I’m cool by that. For those that aren’t quite making the connection with what DD is saying … use his discount code on his signature line and you get 15% discount from Trisports instead of the 10% you get if you use “slowtwitch”. That makes Trisports fairly competitive with any other price

Honestly, I’d give them another chance. The fellows at TriSports are good eggs- a good business run by a fine group of people. I wish my operation was 1/100th as good (it isn’t).
Everybody makes errors and mistakes. Acknowledging your frustration- which is valid- I’d suggest considering giving TriSports a pass on this one. They are truly one of the good guys.
The thing is people shop on price alone. But when it comes to shipping there is no tri-retailer in the US that gets lower shipping rates from UPS, Fed ex or DHL. They are able to pass that savings along therefore making your total cost after shipping less.
You know I don’t remember how much the code in my sig line saves you, but it keep more money in your pocket more longer which is more better for you.
