Spain in April

Going to Spain next April for two weeks. Staying at the Marbella Marriott, Costa del Sol. Any suggestions for st uff to do? We will be doing a mix of chilling at the pool/beach and lots of day trips to surrounding cities like Cordoba, Seville, Gibralter, etc. Any must see’s or must do’s? Advice?

Been to Barcelona several times and loved it.

FInd a bar that serves free tapas with drinks. Or make the rounds from bar to bar (it de tapas). Either way, get fucked up.

Good advice, that for sure will happen. Have you been to the region, or is this a generic statement?

Never been to Costa del Sol, but I understand that Andalusia is one of the areas where you can still find bars with free tapas.

Edit to add: I’ve never been that interested when traveling in seeing sights. Paris – I’d much rather head out to Fountainbleu and boulder than see the Louvre and that tower thing. I much prefer hanging out, meeting people, trying food, etc. That said, if you can get to Granada and visit the Alhambra, that place is amazing.

Did Spain in late-March a few years ago. Absolutely spectacular time to go. Might be a little cold for being a beach-bum, though.

(I tend to do somewhat the opposite of Alan, though–vacations are my time to get all my artsy-fartsy nature out, although the hanging out with locals is a favorite part)
