Actually, two bikes. One for me, and one for Mrs. Vitus. She’s flying to New Jersey tomorrow, and I’m joining her in about two weeks.
I’ve heard that there’s a bike shop in Philly that rents road bikes, but I can’t find it. Does anyone know which shop, and what kind of bikes they have, and for how much?
Failing that, does anyone have a bike or two we can borrow for a few weeks?

Human Zoom does some bike rentals, but I think it might just be hybrids. Worth checking.
I’ve got a 52cm 1996 Trek that you could take out for a few rides, if you’d like. (Hard to part with it for a few weeks, esp. as I still ride it regularly).

Mrs. Vitus is on a plane right now. She’ll be staying in Willingboro, and I’ll be joining her there at the end of next week. And I’ll be spending a week at LBI, as well.

Apparently I’m going to be spending about a week and a half in LBI. My parents always rent a house down there for a week. And yesterday my brother-in-law said a friend of his has a house available for 3 or 4 days for $300.
So I’m about to say “Screw the bike. Let’s just go surfing.”
FYI: Be careful playing in the waves down there - LBI is notorious for steep drop-offs, where waves literally break on the sand. If you value your spinal cord, take a few minutes to assess the area before jumping on the boogie-board.
Boogie boards are for old women.
I grew up body surfing at LBI. I’ve had my head smacked against the bottom more than a couple of times.
