Sorry, another Powercranker's view on things

RVP wrote a response as follows: About me, I’ve been on PC"s for a year and a half. I am still about 2mph slower on PC’s than regular cranks. Finally, I know PC’s have helped both my bike

(RVP)If you considering going 2 mph slower, then yes, PCs seem to have helped your cycling.

RVP, you have such a large knowledge base, and are generous enough to share it with us, which I really appreciate. Then, on the other hand, you take time out to take ridiculous pot-shots like this. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Maybe this person was 4mph slower on his PC’s than his regular bike at first. But now, he is 3mph FASTER on his regular bike while still being 2mph slower on PC’s than his regular bike. I don’t know, you don’t know.

This kind of sniping is childish.

If you really want to know how the fellow defines how “PC’s have helped both my bike and run”, why don’t you just ask how he measures the improvement. If he says he doesn’t know…fine, fire away. Beat a drum as you point out his failure, if you like. Maybe he just isn’t as loquacious as I tend to be, and didn’t want to bore us with more details.

Bring on the information and facts and Pubmed searches, they help everyone that takes the time to explore them. We all know you think the whole Powercrank thing is without merit and impossible to support with “known science”, and that you disagree with Dr. Day at most every bend in the road. Fine. Keep disagreeing and telling us why. The education is great. But, why bring the kindergarten sniping to the keyboard? What purpose does it serve?

I’d really like to know.
