I am new to this election controversy. After reading the dozens of posts over the past two weeks, it is clear that Slowman, Weiss and Kidder speak for themselves and the only posts that support them are obviously people who agreed with what they said but appear to have not much background information or sophistication on the issues. Those posts appear to be genuine “slowtwitchers.”
On the other had, I am struck by the large amount of anonymous posts strongly supporting Gattis and Girand while being highly critical of Weiss, Kidder and others involved in bringing the suit. These posters have a high degree of knowledge on these topics and speak with intimate familiarity and fluency that casual readers would not have.
It almost appears that the anonymous posts are in fact Girand and Gattis. Tru-in-tri, e.g., if that person is not Gattis, it is certainly a very close and knowledgable insider who supports her.
I believe that people who have access to that amount of information are USAT insiders and as such they should not hide behind pseudonyms and false professions (coffee house waiter, give me a break).

You know, I have been noticing the same thing as well. Now, I’l through in my 2 cents worth of Twilight ZOne, stir the muck up mis-information that follows this vein tangentially. In looking through the BD candidate statements today, I noticed that Mr. Jim Girand touts his part in securing the Amino Vital (sponsor) contract. Well, about a couple of weeks ago, an anonymous brand new (as in that very day signed up new) poster responded to the thread on Amino Vital (http://forum.slowtwitch.com/gforum.cgi?post=127919#127919). The poster, Tri27 sounded like he/she came stright from the Marketing department with the brochure copy, but tried to come across as “one of us”, but failed miserably in my opinion. I took the person to task (rather firmly if I must say) and afterwards felt a small amount of remorse. Tri27 has since disappeared. But now, I am really curious as to who Tri27 is. I would also add that in a follow up in the thread, it was obvious that Tri27 has quite the little temper. How’s that for unfounded innuendo, or could I possibly be on to something?

It let me know what kind of people Gattis and Girand are or at least what their friends are like. It confirmed to me why I don’t want these people to have anything to do with the leadership of the USAT. If they thought they were helping themselves or their friends it has backfired in my case. I just checked the boxes for Empfield and Locke and walked it to the mail box. I had concerns with some of what I had heard about Locke but if the “anonymous insider new to Slowtwitch experts” don’t like him he must be OK.
In response to Slowman’s comments, everytime I see election comments from truthintri, I’m bumping this up, unless I hear complaints from regular posters. I’m getting tired of seeing this person ranting on and on about how unfair the BRC decision was. If you have something else to say, come out from behind your smokescreen and say it.
