The National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged they had
covertly funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five
years, whereby the auto makers were installing black boxes in four-wheel
drive pickup trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the
circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash. They were
surprised to find in 44 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in
61.2 percent of fatal crashes were, “OH SHIT!”
Only the states of Oklahoma, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama and
Texas were different, where 89.3 percent of the final words were:

You’re cool Rappstar, I just get tired of the continual drivel. Multiple threads started, etc., all to just get stroked. But thanks for the advice, I do get wound up.
There’s A LOT of BS here. I too get tired of the same threads (especially that f’ing one about “have you seen these HUD goggles?” for the 50th time), whether they are the same post (like that one) or a minor variation on a theme (what wheels to buy?). But people come here to vent. To be somebody else. For all kinds of reasons. I just don’t see that you get anything out your “war” with Tibbs. His posts don’t affect your day-to-day. It’s not like he’s your boss/spouse/coworker/father/son/brother/etc. That’s all I’m saying. Who knows what Tibbs is going through. It might all be BS. It might be a period of darkness the rest of us will never know. It might be something in between. But if this helps him, it doesn’t cost you $0.01. So let it go. Otherwise, you’ll end up where he seems to be coming from… Water under the bridge, off a ducks back, etc., etc., etc.

I just get tired of almost everyone coddling him. It just encourages him. It’s basically empowering him to continue as he does. New people, or those who have never been involved in one of his threads get sucked in and the vortex grows. I wouldn’t have a problem if it was one a day, or if he just added his usually inappropriate comments to other threads.
I guess I just get tired of hearing about poor Mr. Tibbs. Been tired of it for a couple of years. Some of his shenanigans have made a few people lose face and some credibility. I probably wouldn’t mind if it weren’t for the cheerleaders on the sidelines.
Just don’t get sucked into the opposite end of the vortex. Your posts aren’t going to change anything. If anything, they are going to further expand what you see as a problem. Nobody likes the guy who hits the kid with glasses, whether the kid with glasses deserved it or not. Just my $0.02.
I’ve gotten aggravated twice by a thread in here. Both taught me the truth about this forum, which pretty much extends out to communities/people in general – people believe what they believe, and generally only listen to statements that reinforce that, and they tune out the rest. There is NOTHING harder in this world than changing someone’s mind. NOTHING.
