Something unique about you that no one here can claim

Damn. And the smell of the Purina factory, right? (It’s been decades but that’s what I remember of that spot)

The only smell I remember was that of stale urine and drying feces.

Well, I met a girl in West Hollywood
I ain’t naming names
She really worked me over good
She was just like Jesse James
She really worked me over good
She was a credit to her gender
She put me through some changes, Lord
Sort of like a Waring blender

Well, I met a girl at the Rainbow bar
She asked me if I’d beat her
She took me back to the Hyatt House

I don’t want to talk about it

I have gotten stitches in my left upper eyelid, my tongue, and as of yesterday my right lower eyelid.

The two eyelid stitches occurred 65 years apart.

“Cut me, Mick”

Ha! I didn’t have much say when I was 1 1/2 years old!

barfight?

I had 55 stitches from a bar fight. The guy was dead before the court date.

Fight with a toy rake that cut off my eyelid, before my second birthday. This week was for a condition that I didn’t know existed: “entropion.”

You asked.

Not to be confused with “entropian” - which is the wrong word to use for “entropic”

There was a kid in Middle School who would turn his eyelids inside out. It was horrifying

A piece of me went to space.

I took a dump at the Tiger’s Nest monastery in Bhutan.

To @spudone and @monty
I believed you are the only Ironman responders. And I believe @spudone that you have qualed and raced IMH in Kona and @Monty, your participation there is of legend. Allow me to throw this down then for my “unique” experience with the IMH crowd here in.
I have raced IMH on every different iteration of the IM race course that has existed in Kona. In my 16 IMH’s I start in '93 with the old course-- with the Kona Surf Hotel transition, the pit and the swim finishing up the boat ramp onto the pier, to the current course, with the one year (2003?) with an exit from the water at the King Kam beach, the hotel parking lot as T1 and the old airport runway as bike to run transition T2 because the pier was not available.

One more claim, with race morning restroom needs knowing no gender bias, a line for one room and no line for the other room, with privacy afforded by stalls, being that I was next to ladies room entrance and 10 deep in the mens line, I asked the departing occupant and was graciously invited to use an empty women’s restroom at the King Kam pool. Seems that pride has takes a back seat on race morning.

A similar story:

When I was racing Alcatraz several years ago, while we were taking the ferry out, there was a big line of people waiting to use the restroom. I saw Mirinda Carfrae near the back of the line. And then I noticed that everyone else in line was male, so I quietly told her there’s a women’s facility on the boat.

She thanked me and quickly ran up to the front
